Our garden in May

All photos property of David Klemp.

It is butterfly season in the garden.  This is a photo of a young pipevine swallowtail caterpillar.

The mark of a healthy hive shows when they swarm.  An existing hive generally produces more than one queen when they are healthy and have excess food.  This is our third swarm of the season.

What garden post wouldn’t be complete without a pretty flower?
